Ubtan is a paste that people have used for generations as part of skin care and special occasions. The Face Pack (Ubtan) brings that tradition into a simple weekly routine.

What you need

  • A small bowl and a spoon
  • Clean water or a little milk, depending on your skin
  • A clean face towel

Steps

1. Wash your face with a gentle cleanser and pat it almost dry. 2. Mix the pack with a few drops of water or milk to a smooth paste. It should be thick enough to stay on the skin. 3. Apply a thin, even layer to your face, avoiding the eye area. 4. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes, until it feels dry but not tight. 5. Rinse with lukewarm water, using your fingertips in gentle circles. 6. Pat dry and follow with a moisturiser.

Good to know

  • Use it once a week at first, and see how your skin responds.
  • Do a patch test on the neck or inner arm for 24 hours before the first full use.
  • Stop straight away if you feel burning or itching.

Aftercare

Keep your skin hydrated and use sunscreen during the day, especially after a face pack.
